For as long as I can remember, this has always been my reason for traveling. Deep down, I knew that every time I set out on another journey, I was not coming back home the same person.
To share this profoundly transformative experience of “good, authentic travel” with the world is reason I began Just Travel Co.
I am passionate about curating immersive group travel experiences that stir a wonder in our souls for this incredible planet we inhabit, and to unearth the remarkable people doing life-changing good in their local communities.

OWNER + CHIEF PIONEER
When he is not immersed in his role as Chief Pioneer at Just Travel Co, Timothy is leading the team at You Belong, the organisation he founded in 2017, with the mission to lead the way in welcoming and empowering refugee Waymakers to belong and thrive in every community they serve.
Timothy has over 20 years experience in international humanitarian work and a post-graduate degree in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies at Queensland University of Technology.
Back in 2014, Timothy moved with his young family from New York City to the frontlines of Northern Iraq, serving refugees that fled ISIS. There, he co-founded The Refuge Initiative, an initiative building communities of hope by providing both homes and holistic care to refugees.
Timothy is a dynamic communicator. His presentations inspire audiences everywhere with his authentic and adventurous energy, and passionate pursuit of a more courageous and purpose-filled life. From the stage to the podcast studio, his message is both contagious and clear — we are all Waymakers and together we can create a world where everyone belongs.
He is also the podcast host of Justice Matters, Waymakers Today and Who is My Neighbour?
